New Year - Old Theme

Well... here we are. Over six years and I'm still messing around with this nonsense. Might as well make it seven.

We're going to start the year cleaning up my inbox and comment wish list. A lot of people have requested I re-up a lot of posts. So that's where this month is heading. I'll start here in a day or two re-posting requests from my email. Then hit the requests from comments here. And, if anyone would like to request something not seen here before, we'll slap that up here and see if we can find it.

And on another note, I believe I've mentioned before how difficult it can sometimes be to try to think of a clever theme each month. Hence the annual appearances of several themes. So, always one to back down from a challenge, I'm putting the responsibility on YOU PEOPLE! You tell me what's in store for February. Gimme some ideas, people! And I'll see if I can make it happen. The ol' doctor ain't getting any younger over here. He needs a little help now and again.

  1. February should be rock steady street punk month. I would like to see if you have anything I haven't got. I've kind of been flirting with the sound since high school, and have started getting more into it, the last few months. Or you could make albums with harry dicks on the cover month February. You did say you'd get on that. Pun intended.

  2. How about the possibility of a month of records or demos from 1983? In my opinion, 1983 was the best year for Hardcore releases. So much great stuff that year. And if you ever need any help getting downloads for records and demos, lemme know and I can see what I can do! Cheers!

  3. How about, um, Quebec Hardcore Thrash stuff from the '80's? I always thought they had one of the unsung scenes, a ton of great bands but a overlooked. Anyways, long time visitor, first time contact. Keep up the great work. Alan

  4. I know I'm a little late to the party, but a month that had something to do with crust punk would be sick. Thanks
