Over their 30 years ANTiSEEN have had several live releases. I can't even say for sure what's a boot and what's not. I do know these 3 kick ass!

Poison Idea - Live 91 + Pig's Last Stand
In the early 90's no band was heavier (either musically or physically!) than Poison Idea. Here's a boot from a '91 show in Germany as well as what at the time was their farewell gig, which I was lucky enough to be at, in '93.

R.K.L. - Greatest Hits Live
The Rich Kids On L.S.D. blended hardcore and metal with the best of 'em. They put out this unique idea for a 'greatest hits' collection in the late 80's.

Anti-Heros - 1000 Nights Of Chaos
The Anti-Heros bowed out with this live release in 2000. Anyone out there have their debut demo cassette, 'The Anti-Heros Are Here'?

Samhain - Live '86
Samhain was formed from the smoldering ashes of the Misfits. Danzig took the same horror themes, but mixed in heavier, 'scarier' music. All in all, I found it quite entertaining. Here's a set from the Ritz in NYC, 1986.

Ludichrist - CBGB "Off The Board"
More NY punk metal today. Excellent sound quality on this official release. Almost too good for a live release, if you ask me. I always liked these guys.Oddly enough I never heard their 1988 release 'Powertrip'. I think I'll add that to my Wish List. Anyone out there have it?

Sheer Terror + Agnostic Front - Live '88
Let's spend the weekend checking out shows in the great state of New York. Here's Sheer Terror opening for Agnostic Front in Albany, N.Y., circa 1988. The quality is a little poor, but you'll get the point.

Minor Threat/Youth Brigade/Necros - Live '81
In a sad attempt to honor St. Patty's Day, here's a fantastic show that happened at O'Banion's in Chicago in 1981. I got this courtesy of the great Noise Addiction blog. Necros, Youth Brigade and Minor Threat. Holy Shit!!

I've declared today to be Fang Friday! And to celebrate I've got a 1984 recording from the Jockey Club in Kentucky, a 1988 recording from the Iroquois in Virginia, and the officially released 'Live Cheap' which contains both old and new live stuff. Download all of 'em. Ya kinda have to, it is Fang Friday after all!

Black Flag - Live '79 & '81 + Welcome Home Henry
Let's spend the weekend listening to some of the early (and BEST!) LA area bands. The mighty Black Flag started early and toured often. They also had a knack for changing singers. Here are three shows with three different singers. The first from 1979 is with Keith Morris. A great early set complete with crowd chaos in the middle. The second is from 1981 and features Dez singing for the Flag for the last time. And the third has everyone's hero Henry from his first visit back to DC as the new Black Flag singer.

Butthole Surfers - Live '84 & '85
The first time I had an opportunity to see the Butthole Surfers live was in either 1987 or 88. It was also the first time I saw GWAR. And I've never been the same since! Here are a couple shows from earlier in the 80's. The first from Halloween night 1984 (which I have erroneously labelled as '83) in KC and the second from an '85 night at CBGB's.

NOFX - London's Burning + Live '98
NOFX has been touring and recording for some 30 years now. Always entertaining live, as evidenced here with a 1998 show in Arizona, and an actual bootleg release from the 90's as well.I got these from Napster, before Lars fucked everything up. If anyone has better versions of these I'd love them. Of not, try to enjoy what I've got.

The Doctor Is In
I'm Alive Bitches!! And I for one couldn't be happier! And to prove it, I'm dedicating this month to Live Recordings. Granted, some will unfortunately be of questionable sound quality. However, hopefully they will still be entertaining to someone other than me. If not, well I guess you guys get to take another month off!
