Blitzkid + Mister Monster - Exhuming Graves And Making Dates Split 10"
The last split of what was definitely one of the worst months of my life is actually a sneak peek at next months theme. Both Mr. Monster out of New Jersey and Blitzkid from Virginia are considered a couple of the best bands carved out of the Misfits mold. A good horror punk split. Now let's please just turn this fucking page!

Inferno + The Execute - Split
Germany's Inferno and Japan's The Execute released these recordings independently. However, punk god Pushead slapped em together on the same piece of vinyl in 1986. Heavy shit.

Abaddon + Rejestracja - Polish H-C Split
Here's a live split from 1985. Two great Polish bands. Unfortunately the sound quality is a bit rough. I guess they were unable to get Rick Rubin to fly behind the Iron Curtain for that. All in all it's a quality addition to your collection.

Pyhäkoulu + Abortti 13 - Lapsuusmuistoja Split 7"
If Google Translate is correct, when you mix Sunday School & Abortion 13 you get Childhood Memories. And no surprise, both bands deliver solid Finnish hardcore.

N.O.T.A. + Brother Inferior Split 7"
A quick stop back in the U.S. before heading off to foreign lands again. This comes courtesy of Oklahoma. Hardcore legends N.O.T.A. regrouped in the early 90's and teamed up with heavyweights Brother Inferior to rip through four tracks that make you remember why you started liking this stuff in the first place.

U.K. Splits
Today's relaxing reposts come from the United Kingdom.
First up is this quick little 7" that I just love for some reason. I wouldn't call it classic, or even particularly groundbreaking, but I just really dig it.
Heathrow Touchdown
And next we have a release that I would consider a classic. The Blood and the great and goofy Gonads from 1988
South London 5 Hull 4 (Full Time Result)

The Stooges + MC5 - Live @ Soldier Field 07.18.70
Time to pay tribute to our fore-fathers. Here's a split live bootleg from two of Motor City's baddest. The audience recording is somewhat atrocious, but whadaya want? It was 1970 for crying out loud!

Just Say No + Tesco Vee's Hate Police - Fuck Straight-Edge Vol. 2 Split 7"
Time for a monster Michigan release today. Just Say No and, that's right weenbags, T.V.'s Hate Police from 1991. 'This record is predicated on the fact that with substance abuse, all things are possible.'

Update
Well, I need to try to start getting my life back to normal. And honestly, I'm about all cried out anyway. So, since I had some posts already in the hopper just needing a file uploaded, I'll start posting them tomorrow. And hopefully we'll be back to normal by next month.

Whiskey Rebels + Hanover Saints - Split
Here's some bad-ass street punk from Sacramento, CA. Released on CD in 2006, it packs an old school wallop. Even enough for me to ignore the Saints' love of "fairy tales".

The Dyslexics + No Comply - Split 7"
I found this unruly 7" some time ago on the great Down Underground. Don't know much about either band. I know they're two loud and obnoxious California bands and I believe it was released in 1997. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.

D.C. Splits
Sunday is going to be a day of rest for me this month, sort of. I'm going to repost splits that have lost their links. And today I have two from our nations capital.
First off, the classic split 7" from 1983. Artificial Peace is, of course, great. But I really like The Exiled side. This is all I ever heard from, or quite honestly of them.
Artificial Peace / Exiled
Next, the grammatically incorrect Demo's split released in 2001 featuring Minor Threat and the DC Youth Brigade. Sometimes ya just gotta crank up the classics!

Toxic Reasons + Zero Boys Split 7"
Not sure how or why this 1991 7" came about. I do know it features two punk legends. It's nice to have in a collection.

Hated Youth + Roach Motel - Split
And here's an early aughts release of early 80's recordings. Florida has a rich history of great hardcore bands, and here's two great ones. The first side is an unreleased Hated Youth LP recorded in 1984 and the second is a Roach Motel live set from 1983. Great stuff.

The N.Y. Rel-X + Antidote - Split 7"
From the early 80's we quickly jump to the early aughts. Four songs by two bands playing good old school style.

Code Of Honor + Sick Pleasure - Split
So this month we're celebrating the great punk rock tradition of the Split Release. That's right, September is 'Splitsville', baby!
We start way back in 1982 with this absolute classic. Actually it's the same band with different singers. Sick Pleasure broke up when Niki Siki started Verbal Abuse, so they just recruited Johnithin Christ and continued. The band salvaged old stuff, recorded new stuff and released this as a split of Code Of Honor's 'Fight Or Die' and Sick Pleasure's 'Dolls Under Control'.
