Staying in the Commonwealth of Virginia but moving about 130 miles west as the punk rock crow flies, and also going backwards some 7 or 8 years, we have Death Piggy. The forebears of Gwar, they released three interesting 7"s before finally hitting rock 'n' roll fame and fortune. This is their debut from 1984.
I saw this incarnation too. Buddy of mine tells me they are playing this summer.
