We're spending a couple days behind The Bars. We start with a tribute album that is actually a benefit album as well. The cause being something that was incredibly important and necessary. Everything finally worked out to the good there, for the most part. So now we're left with this great album. The Rollins Band supplied the backing music while all stars bust out Black Flag classics. There's some heavyweights here: Lemmy, Iggy, Tom Araya and of course Henry. An excellent collection.

I guess my other post vanished. I've always liked tribute albums cuz it sorta expands the work of the original band. I have like 8 Clash tribute cds and between them there's a coupla cds worth of excellent covers. I always liked this Rise Above cuz I'd not seen any prior BF tribute albums, this was for a good cause and I get to hear Iggy singing a BF song! ps, Bloodlake has 2 demos.
