In light of recent events I think this fitting. We end the month in France. So, I was never very familiar with French hardcore. No particular reason, just hadn't been exposed to much of it. That's too bad because, as this sampler will attest, there was some chaos going on in France! From 1985, 7 bands including Bloody Fuckers, Heimat-Los and the insane Rapt.

And finally, as the saying goes: "STOP KILLING PEOPLE YOU FUCKING TWATS!"

This weekends journey begins in Sweden. This mid 80's comp does a great job of showcasing Sweden's rich hardcore history. S.O.D., Raped Teenagers and Mob 47 along with others. A great collection.

And speaking of Sweden's rich hardcore history, this tape as well as the rest of the weekend offerings, come courtesy of the site Swedish Punk Fanzines. Absolutely ANYTHING you want to know about the Swedish scene, as well as all the Nordic countries can be found. It's a fantastic resource.

Actually, about this Blog.

So last month marked four years. FOUR YEARS!! Honestly I thought I would have lost interest by now, but here we are.

As we turn our focus to Year Five we start with an old favorite of mine, the Compilation Tape.

And, since the time of Giving Thanks is just around the corner I thought it a great time to ask for a huge favor so I can then be very thankful.
