Samhain - Live '86

Samhain was formed from the smoldering ashes of the Misfits. Danzig took the same horror themes, but mixed in heavier, 'scarier' music. All in all, I found it quite entertaining. Here's a set from the Ritz in NYC, 1986.

Ludichrist - CBGB "Off The Board"

More NY punk metal today. Excellent sound quality on this official release. Almost too good for a live release, if you ask me. I always liked these guys.Oddly enough I never heard their 1988 release 'Powertrip'. I think I'll add that to my Wish List. Anyone out there have it?

Minor Threat/Youth Brigade/Necros - Live '81

In a sad attempt to honor St. Patty's Day, here's a fantastic show that happened at O'Banion's in Chicago in 1981. I got this courtesy of the great Noise Addiction blog. Necros, Youth Brigade and Minor Threat. Holy Shit!!
