Circle One - Are You Afraid?

By request, here's L.A.'s Circle One. An account of their all too brief history can be found HERE.

Survive

The Fix - At The Speed Of Twisted Thought

Mean Michigan punks The Fix only released a couple 7"s in their too brief existence. Lucky for us Touch & Go slapped both of them on a CD. Plus they included demos and live tracks. Awesome!!

Do You Look Up To Anyone?

Anti - The Hardcore Years

Here's some great L.A. hardcore today. Anti released 3 records, all on their own label New Underground. Grand Theft Audio put them all on one CD in 1997. Get it now!

Can The Family Survive The Phase?

Condemned 2 Death - You Can't Kill A Vat Rat!

For those that don't know, The Vat was an old abandoned brewery in SF that punks/bands began squatting in. C2D was among them. Here's a great comp featuring both official releases as well as demos and live stuff.

Look What We've Done

Negative Approach - Total Recall

Hard to believe this powerhouse band only released two EPs. Both classics. Both included on this 1992 compilation. There's also plenty of powerful live stuff. Apparently there was an old unreleased EP that found the light of day a few years ago. Does anyone out there have that one? I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

We Won't Take Any Shit And We're Not About To Leave

Bad Posture - G.D.M.F.S.O.B.

San Francisco greats Bad Posture only released one 8 song 12" during their run. That is here along with comp tracks, demos and live stuff too. Great collection.

War Forever War

The Nig-Heist - Snort My Load

Welcome to 2014! I enjoyed December. Lotsa posts! I'll continue the theme (sort of) this month. As the Compact Disc Age dawned plenty of bands were able to put their complete collection on one or two discs. And that's where our focus lies this month. And we're kicking it off with our old pals Nig-Heist. Back in the late 90's this CD was released, and back in late 2013 I got a request for it. And I'm finally getting around to posting it. Released as a two CD set, the second disc is an hour long compilation of charming live material.
