The X-Cops were a side project and opening act for GWAR in the mid-90's. They released a single and full length which both aren't half bad in my opinion.
without mentioning names, and realizing it was an asshat thing to be involved in...at the end of the second X-Cops show at Backroom in Austin,TX, a friend of mine jokingly grabbed their bus keys, as it was open and our drunk lot had wandered inside briefly. You have to love him, on a dare he grabbed the keys and as we reached our car, chucked them into the grass behind the club opposite the bus. Poor bastards, I felt awful but enjoyed the hell out of it as an honestly innocent spectator. I'm sure they got a kick out of it on some level...maybe? they knew us from being against the plywood at every show in south texas from early 90s on, I wonder if they ever made the connection. I'd had several rows with Slymenstra in the same club, as had key master. IDK, maybe not, but we laughed all night about that :)
