Boy, I remember when this one came out. Right on the heels of what I consider two classics: Plug In Jesus and This Island Earth. Granted, Dr. Know had hinted at a metal sound on those releases, but wow, did they ever dive in head first with this one. I was so disappointed. But, now listening in retrospect, it's a good album. But I don't think it's a classic. Their Sabbath cover is bad ass, though!
Slice Of Life
Another great album sir !
ReplyDeleteThank you Dr.
Wreckage in flesh was an awesome album. It had big stadium metal sound but raw and uncommercialized. It was dark and grungy; before some douchebag said nirvana was. A unique heavy metal experience that screams late '80s. I'm not surprised the Mohawks didn't like it.
