We need to make sure we fit a couple more UK bands in here before the end of the month. Today it's "crust pioneers" Deviated Instinct. This is, I believe, their second demo. Released in 1986. Not too flashy. A bit underwhelming in my unimportant opinion.
I have to agree with you there. The demo after this, their first 7" and first LP are all much better. I have yet to listen to their second LP though.
