Mojo Nixon & Skid Roper - Frenzy

O.K., time to take a bit of a left turn today. Mojo Nixon certainly did not play hardcore music, but you could argue he shared the punk rock ethos. Tackling such "punk" topics as MTV (Stuffin' Martha's Muffin), financial institutions (I Hate Banks), the arms race (Gonna Put My Face On A Nuclear Bomb) and sleazy club owners (Where The Hell's My Money) albeit with childish humor. Phrases like "talliwacker" and "doo doo balls" are prevalent. There's even a couple great cover tunes too. If you haven't heard Mojo & Skid in a while, time to refresh your memory. And if you've NEVER heard Mojo & Skid, you NEED this!!!

If I Want Any Shit Outta You I'll Squeeze Your Head, Boy!

  1. I'm looking for 2nd U.Y.U.S. lp, Use Your United Sense, from 1990. If you have a connection for this lp, would be fantastic !!!!!
