It was the late 80's when a few Kentucky boys got together to put their southern twist on hardcore. They called themselves Nine Pound Hammer and lasted about a decade before exploding. Guitarist Blaine Cartwright went on to form the powerhouse Nashville Pussy, by the way. The break up proved to be fairly short lived, as they regrouped, for the good of the nation, and are still recording today. This is their 1994 release, and I think it's their best.
